Though Juvederm and Belotero are both dermal fillers, many people prefer the lower density of Belotero for filling finer lines and wrinkles than Juvederm. It is injected superficially into your skin using a fine-gauge needle to go higher up in the Dermis layer to create more dramatic results with less product.
The difference between Belotero and Restylane is that it has been perfected to reduce fine lines. Many experts believe Belotero is better because it is easier to layer, making it a great option as a top layer filler that can be used on top of deep layer fillers.
Belotero is an FDA-approved injectable form of collagen that helps stimulate the body’s natural production. Belotero has been clinically shown to increase volume up to 6% after just one treatment session. It also boosts your own skin cells’ ability to produce new collagen fibers for longer-lasting results with fewer treatments overall.
Yes, we often recommend Belotero for the delicate area around the eye. It is well suited as an under-eye filler because it’s made of hyaluronic acid, which is less likely to cause allergic reactions than other substances used in injections like collagen.
